More artists to bright your Tuesday night on Ibiza, only on Amnesia!
After the first two announcements of world class acts joining us at the islands favourite Tuesday night residency, It’s our pleasure to announce the third wave of international heavyweights adding to a mammoth line-up for our 16-week stint at Amnesia…
This latest announcement will only add to the already star-studded line up with our Tuesday night residency taking shape very nicely. With the likes of DJ EZ, Stormzy & Armand Van Helden only a few of the names set to join us over the summer, we can’t wait to kick things off!
Armand van Helden
Long established house heavyweight Armand van Helden is the first act in our third wave of announcements. For over twenty years, the dance music innovator has been on the cutting edge of electronic music, both breaking down walls between genres and opening up new ones in the process. Best known for his ‘Professional Widow’ remix and hits ‘My My My’ and ‘You Don’t Even Know Me’ which reached number 1 in 1999, Van Helden went on to remix The Rolling Stones & Janet Jackson as well as Daft Punk, adding to his reputation as one of the world’s top house artists. A clutch of crucial remixes and several albums made Van Helden’s name one of the most popular around and few dance producers have had the changeability and staying power of Armand Van Helden. Expect spine-tingling house music’s at this year at Together.

Hailing from North London, DJ EZ is a multi-award winning artist recognized in the music industry and public alike as the greatest garage DJ to ever grace a set of decks. A true bastion of his genre, he is one of the most creative, innovative and technical mixers on the dance circuit. EZ has hosted his pioneering show on Kiss FM for the last 13 years, documenting the evolution of garage. He is considered one of the best DJ’s of his generation by his fellow peers and remains as relevant as ever. Recently cementing his ridiculous technical skill and unlimited catalogue of tunes, DJ EZ played a 24-hour set for charity, proving to us once more why he’s the king of UK garage. His unique live performances are a must see for all electronic music lovers, so be sure to catch this magical experience this summer at Amnesia and be prepared to get two-stepping!
A cunning young MC from South London, Stormzy will be performing for the first time at Together at Amnesia Ibiza this summer. In the last 18 months the grime ambassador has gained unprecedented amount of support from his contemporaries including some of the forefathers of the genre such as Wiley, Skepta, Krept & Konan, Lethal Bizzle and Wretch 32. In 2015 his success was cemented after winning two Mobo’s for Best Male Act and Best Grime Act as well as appearing on stage alongside Kanye West at The Brits. Following his ‘Wicked Skengman’ freestyles, untouchable fire in the booth verse and the infamous ‘Shut Up’ over the classic ‘XTC – functions on the low’ which currently sits at over 28 million YouTube views, Stormzy’s popularity has faced a rapid ascent. Culminating in a full UK tour, copious festival performances and now Together Ibiza.
(28th June & 2nd August)
One of Germany’s most original electronic music artists, Fritz Kalkbrenner joins our Tuesday night blowout this summer. In recent years Kalkbrenner has established a reputation as one of the most popular songwriters to emerge out of Berlin, best known as a vocalist renowned for his mind-blowing live sets, expertly lacing together soul, house, jazz, funk and hip hop. Now heavily involved in techno as a genre, and like many others of his generation, he became devoted to both the music and the iconic club scene his hometown had to offer. His unfaltering production teamed with the quintessentially Ibizan Amnesia make for a set you wouldn’t want to miss.
(28th June & 9th August)
Together are pleased to welcome super-sick sound system Kurupt FM, stars of BBC mockumentary series, People Just Do Nothing. Co-founders of West London’s popular pirate radio show, MC Grindah and DJ Beats keep the UK garage flame burning in their native Brentford and have slowly built up a following of listeners in its 13 years on the airwaves, always staying one step ahead of the law and two steps ahead of the competition.
Their following includes the like of Ed Sheeran, Chase & Status, JME, Example, Annie Mac and Big Narstie to name a few. Having sold out Koko in London with their Champagne Steam Rooms and playing at the likes of Bestival, Creamfields, Outlook, Boomtown and Kendal Calling last summer, the guys are sure to bring the festival feel along with them to Amnesia this summer.
(12th July, 16th August 6th Sep)
Homing from Australia, the super group have dominated the dance floors worldwide for many years now. From their drum and bass roots Pendulum have exploded into almost every arena; rock clubs, student unions, town centre nightclubs and Ibiza. Their distinctive sound will bring even the most tepid dance floor to the boil the instant they touch the decks. Best known for their track ‘Tarantula’, ‘The Island & ‘Slam’, it is only fitting that such an iconic drum and bass act will be joining us at one of Ibiza’s most iconic venues, prepare for a beat offensive from this world class act.
(28th June & 26th July)
Quirky duo Camelphat are all about delivering soulful tech house and 2016 promises to be a big year for them after a breakthrough 2015. Their track ‘Paradigm’ featuring vocals from AME was massive last year later followed up by their EP Super Hot released on Great Stuff. They look set to build upon this momentum with a big UK tour of South West Four, Creamfields and We Are Festival. The mysterious pair are famous for their flame wrestling masks and fire sets, there’s no doubt that they’ll be leaving you intrigued and enticed after a Tuesday night at Together.
(5th July, 2nd Aug, 20th Sep)
On the bill next is Spanish Maestro Hector Couto, who offers a slight move away from the urban sounds offered by a lot of the other Phase 3 announcements. His groove and dance floor focused tracks aren’t at all lacking in bass, which is the one things that has remained consistent with the young Spanish luminary, as he is still tampering with his sound as he grows older. His music has drawn attention from the likes of Hot Creations and Get Physical, not to mention legend Darius Syrossian who co-produced the EP ‘Who’s the Douche?’ with Hector. The stand-out track from the EP for most was ‘House is House’, a raw tech-house tune with infectious G-Funk vocals, prepare for Hector to make the Amnesia house his home this summer.
Kidnap Kid is another top-notch producer to add to a very diverse looking line-up. The 25 year old quickly rose to prominence after entering the scene in 2011, and by the time 2012 came round he had already won ‘Best Electronic Song of 2012’ in the iTunes US chart. The track ‘Vehl’ was the winner, which is an incredible achievement considering the uniqueness of the song, one that seems far more catered to the underground. This was only his second release on Black Butter Records and the recent graduate seems to mean business, as he’s followed it up with a further four releases since. Kidnap Kid has a few more stops before he graces Amnesia as he looks to ferment his name from San Diego to Malawi.

Joining him will be radio 1’s urban music head honcho Mistajam. The DJ, radio presenter, and occasional actor runs shows across BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra 5 days a week for over a decade now. His show “Saturday Night Soundclash” claims to represent Dubstep, UK Funky, Grime, Hip-Hop, R&B, Drum & Bass, House, Reggae, Dancehall and “everything in between”. We’re undoubtedly in for a heavy and diverse UK set, from an extremely cultured DJ. Mistajam is no stranger to Ibiza or Together for that matter, having made his mark on the Terrace along with Pendulum back in 2012.
My Nu Leng
(Tuesday 21st June, Tuesday 19th July, Tuesday 23rd August, Tuesday 30th August)
Forming a core part of Black Butter Records, are Bristol based duo, My Nu Leng. Combining drum and bass, UK garage, dubstep and grime, these two have propelled to the forefront of the UK scene. With three releases on Black Butter and two more with MTA, the duo has gathered widespread support across the board. Their sound has ensured they have pierced their way forward in the music scene, providing forward thinking production which seamlessly combines a large proportion of sounds which have been prominent in the UK’s underground scene for the past decade. Sweeping up the vibes of grime, techno and garage into one bass-laden dustpan, Jammo and Tommy only continue to rise through the ranks.
7th June (opening) & 20th June (closing)
Making his return to Ibiza this summer, Grime sensation Novelist will be moving up to Amnesia joining Chase & Status to showcase their new tune ‘Bigger Man Sound’ if we’re lucky. Novelist is at the forefront of Grime’s revival and has had a bigger few years and a more dramatic rise to fame than anyone, breaking through from his work with producer Mum dance on hits such as ‘Take Time’. The talented MC is also a self-taught producer, and has recently been picked up by XL Records. The boy from Lewisham holds sell-out birthday parties, done an exclusive cypher Grime set for Mixmag, and has appeared in more Boiler Rooms than DJ’s twice his age…. Not bad for a 19 year old MC…
What a huge few years this veteran has had, if you haven’t heard ‘Untitled’ since its big release in 2013 then you must have been living under a rock. If you haven’t then don’t fear as Paul will be bringing down Amnesia this summer with other bangers like his remix of Hackney Parrott by Tessela under his alias Special Request, and his own tune ‘Erotic Discourse’, which has received so many big remixes I’ve lost track of which ones Pauls!
Strap in for a dark and dirty set from one of the best remixers and producers in the techno sphere.
(14th June, 5th July & 2nd Aug)
Birmingham boy Preditah shot to fame thanks to his unique Grime production, highly respected by those in the game such as Wiley who notably used Preditah’s definitive ‘Circles’ beat on his ‘Step 1’ freestyle. Around 2013 Preditah decided it was time to move away from his stigma as a sole Grime producer and hasn’t looked back since, gravitating towards Garage and bass heavy house music. After tearing up Red Bull’s Culture Clash a couple of years back, Preditah claimed he refuses to give out instrumentals anymore, he wants to work with singers and make more complete songs. Since then he’s made tunes with the likes of Jessie Ware and Yasmin; his Garage based up-beat track ‘Supernaturally’ is definitely one to watch out for at Together this summer.
