Amnesia pre-opening party 2026: the celebration begins at Cova Santa

A year this special could only begin by returning to where it all started: dancing under the open sky. Long before Amnesia became a global icon, its earliest days in the 70s were shaped by open-air freedom, sunlight, fresh air and the raw energy of people coming together through music. On 9 May, ahead of our Opening Party, that spirit comes alive once again at Cova Santa, where we raise a glass to celebrate our 50th anniversary. This Pre-Opening Party begins at 17:00 and ends only when the shuttle bus takes you to our temple, Amnesia.

An open-air gathering to warm up, bring the community together and take the first step into a historic season on the island.

The line-up brings together three key names from today’s scene: OBSKÜR, the Irish duo who have become one of the most exciting acts in the new wave of European house; Richy Ahmed, an undisputed figure of the British sound and a regular force on the world’s best dancefloors; and JFOX, a versatile selector on the rise, bringing freshness and energy to the start of the celebration. More artists will be announced soon.

All ticket holders for the Amnesia Opening Party will enjoy free access to the Pre-Opening Party at Cova Santa. Tickets are also available exclusively for Cova Santa by clicking here.

There will also be a free shuttle bus from Cova Santa to Amnesia, connecting both spaces so the experience can continue throughout the night.
