España de Noche honours Amnesia Ibiza for its legacy and contribution to nightlife culture

Amnesia Ibiza has been recognised by the National Federation of Leisure and Entertainment Businesses, España de Noche, during the Recicla la Noche Awards ceremony, held in A Coruña as part of the 2026 Nightlife Capital celebrations.

The award recognises Amnesia’s legacy as one of the most representative institutions in club culture and its historic contribution to the development of electronic music and nightlife, coinciding with the club’s 50th anniversary year.

The ceremony brought together cultural organisations, businesses, institutions and industry representatives from across Spain, highlighting initiatives related to sustainability, social coexistence, culture and the social impact of nightlife.

As part of the event programme, Beatriz Murillo, Marketing Manager at Amnesia Ibiza, also took part in the panel discussion “Nightlife Tourism Experiences and Entertainment Venues as Tourism Businesses”, sharing her perspective on the role and importance of clubbing as a cultural, social and economic driver within contemporary tourism.

For five decades, Amnesia has been much more than a club: a space for freedom, connection and artistic expression that has brought generations together through music and the dancefloor. This recognition reaffirms the role of club culture as an essential part of contemporary cultural and social identity.
