A Free Rave with Purpose: Amnesia Raises Funds to Help Protect Ibiza with Marlon Hoffstadt
The club raised €14,000 for Ibiza & Formentera Preservation after hosting a free party with Marlon Hoffstadt as part of its 50th anniversary celebrations.
On July 8th, Amnesia's Terrace welcomed thousands of people for a free daytime rave led by Marlon Hoffstadt. Entry to the event was granted through a donation, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to Ibiza & Formentera Preservation.
Thanks to the overwhelming response from the community, the initiative raised €14,000, which will support the foundation's environmental conservation and restoration projects across Ibiza and Formentera.
Founded in 2008, Ibiza & Formentera Preservation champions initiatives focused on protecting the islands' terrestrial and marine biodiversity, promoting a circular economy, supporting local food production and preserving the ecosystems that make Ibiza and Formentera unique. Since its creation, the foundation has helped fund more than 80 environmental projects and mobilised millions of euros towards their development.
The collaboration was built around a simple idea: turning a celebration into collective action. During such a special summer for Amnesia, music once again proved its power to bring people together—this time creating an impact that reached far beyond the dancefloor.
With this initiative, Amnesia reaffirms its commitment to the island it has called home since 1976, and to the people and organisations working to protect its future.
