Paradise Opening Party Review: The most anticipated party in Ibiza begins

We were eagerly awaiting the start of one of the most exciting parties of the Ibiza season, the party that received the best reviews in 2022 and has become a major event on the island. Jamie Jones' Paradise has returned to Amnesia with its new concept, "Night of The Jaguar," an expedition into the electronic jungle, a world of vibrant wildlife whose soundtrack will be provided by the most stimulating representatives of house and techno.

On June 21st, we experienced a night to remember, with Amnesia filled with clubbers eager to be part of the Paradise community. The Main Room of Amnesia transformed into The Music Box, an immersive space with its own look, atmosphere, and top-notch sound system. The night began with a set by Calvin Clarke, serving as a perfect warm-up. Rich Nxt and Ben Sterling continued with their performances, raising the temperature of the room with their class and overflowing talent. East End Dubs once again demonstrated that their energy is contagious, connecting with the audience from the DJ booth from the first minute and making us vibrate until the last note. But the highlight of the night came with a three-way B2B featuring Dan Ghenacia, Shonky, and Traumer. These three artists have moved beyond the label of promises and become unquestionable realities. They brought freshness, intensity, and an unparalleled attitude.

The Terrace, the most iconic room on the island, transformed into a lush paradise full of life. It was a visual, sensory, and musical experience where anything goes to ensure an unforgettable night. The soundtrack of this opening party on the Terrace began with Fleur Shore and her distinctive style, filled with infectious basslines, captivating vocals, and a passionate investment to revive the sounds of yesteryear with her unique touch. Manda Moor and Ilario Alicante gave us two masterclasses in house sounds, with elegance and joy in equal measure. But the highlight of the evening was in the hands of two friends, two artists who connect beyond their conception of sound. First, we enjoyed the great Joseph Capriati, a full-fledged member of the Paradise family and one of the best DJs of today. And to bring the party to a close, the beloved host of Ibiza, Jamie Jones, who ended the night with the magical light of dawn.

If you experienced the Paradise opening at Amnesia firsthand, you were fortunate, and we are sure you will return to many of their parties throughout this season. If you didn't experience it, this summer you have a unique opportunity to be part of an event that perfectly represents the spirit of Ibiza.
