Women Take Over the Main Room: Closing Festival 2025
Amnesia’s Closing Festival has always been a moment to break routines, push music to its limits, and bid farewell to summer as it deserves. This year, we’re repeating the formula from 2024, with the Saturday Main Room once again led almost entirely by women — a powerful statement that should be seen more often in the global electronic scene.
A lineup that speaks volumes
From Nina Kraviz’s unpredictable journeys to Amelie Lens’s relentless techno storm, through Deborah de Luca’s razor-sharp sets and the unstoppable force of Fatima Hajji, the Main Room is turning into a showcase of female power behind the decks. Add Estella Boersma and Onyvaa, and you’ve got one of the most striking techno lineups ever seen on the island.
In a scene that too often still leans male-heavy, this isn’t just programming—it’s a statement. On October 11th, Amnesia’s Main Room will be a cathedral of sound led by some of the most influential women in electronic music today.
Two nights, one ritual
Of course, the story of the Closing Festival is bigger than one night. Friday sets the tone with a mix of euphoric house and raw underground techno, including Ben Hemsley’s season finale and a powerful Main Room run from 999999999, Lee Ann Roberts and SNTS. Then Saturday becomes the marathon—exclusive back-to-backs on the Terrace (Honey Dijon b2b Marco Faraone, Luciano b2b Josh Baker, Sidney Charles b2b Gaskin, and more) while the Main Room writes a new page in clubbing history.
The end that feels like a beginning
Two nights, 22 hours of music, sunrise in the Terrace, and one of the rawest, most authentic clubbing experiences you can live on the island today. The Closing Festival is not just an end—it’s proof that club culture is alive, evolving, and still capable of surprising us.
