How Amnesia sounds today: from “louder” to “better”
At Amnesia we have renewed our sound so that what happens in the booth reaches the dancefloor with stunning precision.
It’s not about pushing the volume higher — it’s about elevating fidelity. You feel it as soon as you walk in: bass that hits deep in your chest without overwhelming, mids that let melodies and vocals breathe, and highs that shine without cutting through your ears. Whether you’re front row, at the bar, or on the side of the Terrace, everything sounds equally clear, coherent, and powerful.
The decision wasn’t about aesthetics — it was about essence. In Ibiza, where a night can last twelve hours, the real challenge isn’t to impress with the first drop, but to sound great until sunrise. The previous system had power, yes, but clarity could fade with time. The modernization —first in the Main Room and completed this season in the Terrace— follows a simple idea: less fatigue, more music.
Close your eyes at 6 a.m. and you can still distinguish every layer as if you were in a studio.
The Sound of a Temple
Behind this renewal lies engineering and expertise, but above all, a shared vision: keeping music at the center. The project was developed by KV2 Audio, the cult Czech brand beloved by sound engineers, and executed in collaboration with Ibiza-based specialists Plusmusic, who transformed the design into an immersive experience within the club.
The result is a tailor-made system, precisely calibrated point by point — dancefloor, booth, bars, and side areas — to ensure total coherence. The Terrace, with its glass ceiling and 4,000 people at sunrise, was the ultimate test: now, the light floods in and the sound remains crystal clear.
KV2 brought its point-source philosophy and Super Live Audio technology, prioritizing phase coherence and ultra-low distortion over raw volume. Plusmusic, meanwhile, designed and fine-tuned every zone with surgical precision, ensuring that every corner of the club — from the booth to the VIP area — delivers the same sonic purity.
Engineering Behind the Dance
8 × SL412 + 16 × VHD2.18J subs = full coverage with zero muddy bass.
ESD312 / ESR212 monitors in the DJ booth, so artists hear exactly what the crowd hears.
VHD7000D amplifiers keep the system stable for more than 12 hours straight.
Phase and EQ alignment → impact without ear fatigue.
The result: a sound that’s more precise, balanced, and musical.
The booth and dancefloor breathe together.
Beyond Volume
This upgrade isn’t about fireworks — it’s about defending what’s always been at the heart of Amnesia: music first, the dancefloor above all. If Amnesia was once known for its power, now it’s known for clarity and balance. It’s a new definition of intensity — pure, honest, and built to last all night.
Close your eyes, feel the beat, and let the system do the rest.
Rave now, think later.
