Pyramid Special, the essential warm-up for welcoming the 2024 season.

Last Friday, April 26th, we opened our doors for the first time this year to host Pyramid Special, an amazing party that served as a thrilling kickoff to the 2024 season. The event featured musical talents like Amelie Lens, Indira Paganotto, and Hot Since 82, among other great artists. The turnout was massive, the crowd's energy was at its peak, and the music set the bar very high for everything that's to come.

Amnesia's first opening was a blast. From 11 PM, the doors kept welcoming clubbers from around the world non-stop. It was palpable in the air that many had come exclusively to Ibiza for this special edition of Pyramid. By 1 AM, Amnesia's Main Room was already packed with dancers waving their hands in the air, bidding farewell to Luca Donzelli and welcoming Héctor Oaks, the Madrid-based DJ who never fails to impress with his vinyl sets. From early on, people exuded euphoria, showcasing the energy of a season that kicks off with a bang.

There's something undeniable: women brought an unmatched sensation to the DJ booth. Amelie Lens rocked the house with an intensely beautiful set, accompanied by excellent sound and lighting production; the moving pyramids on the ceiling created a spectacular 360-degree experience. The Belgian DJ, who recently became a mother, gifted the audience with a climax moment when she played the track "Adagio For Strings" in a dark techno rendition to remember. At 4:30 AM, Indira Paganotto took over the set, and the enthusiasm she brought to the dancefloor was overwhelming; the crowd cheered her on constantly. She skillfully responded to it all, generating a truly unique energy in the space with her set and moves. Both women share something special: their presence behind the decks and their passion for music create a dreamlike experience for techno enthusiasts.

On the terrace, there was nothing but joy; groups of friends were seen singing and shouting with happiness, accompanying the sets of Sara De Araújo, who kicked off the party and set the stage for Sweely's performance. House music has the magic of entertaining and bringing the audience together, and that was evident throughout the night. Just 15 minutes into his set, East End Dubs dropped the track "Strangers In The Room," and clubbers were seen singing along with emotion, just like with the famous track "Low Down Drums." Rhythmic sounds and vocals were a constant on the terrace, and the crowd embraced it with joy. Hot Since 82, now joined in the DJ booth by Marco Faraone, delighted the crowd with "Catch Me" (Extended Mix), marking the beginning of the final set of the night.

After this initial success, Pyramid Ibiza has released its weekly calendar for the 2024 season as they return to Amnesia with their clear motto: appreciating the past, living the present, and dancing towards the future. Expect stellar lineups at their club residency, returning every Sunday from June 9th to October 6th.

Leading up to its 25th birthday in October, the renowned London club Fabric will take its brand worldwide to collaborate with some of its favorite venues and festivals. On September 15th, Ricardo Villalobos, O Bee b2b Tomos Station, Elli Acula, Sama’ Abdulhadi, and more yet to be announced artists will grace the island's most discerning nightclub.

In collaboration with Junction 2, world-class DJs Alan Fitzpatrick, Deborah De Luca, Lilly Palmer, and Luca Donzelli will headline the Main Room on September 29th.

These shows add weight to a robust lineup for 2024, featuring Ricardo Villalobos, Nina Kraviz, Adam Beyer, Richie Hawtin, Charlotte de Witte, Maceo Plex, Debora De Luca, Cuartero, Luciano, and more. To top it off, Pyramid at Amnesia will offer B2B sets that heighten anticipation. Ricardo Villalobos and Nina Kraviz will unite at the opening party, creating an unforgettable journey through electronic rhythms and paving the way for the upcoming summer. Other B2B sets this season include Marco Faraone B2B Chris Avantgarde, Sidney Charles B2B Locklead, Ricardo Villalobos B2B Luciano, and more.
