DJenerates, Klubcoin and Amnesia Ibiza to Host Winner of KlubCoin’s “DJenerates DJ Global Search” Competition

DJenerates Klub, KlubCoin and Amnesia have been on a global search for the next generation of dance music talent and now the winners can be revealed as Colombian live act “Two Guys Plus Machines”.  

After narrowing down 1400 DJs to just four finalists, the competitors all lined up for a two-hour set live in Amnesia’s Virtual Club inside Decentral Games on the 29th of August, with a simultaneous broadcast on Clubbing TV. The winners “Two Guys Plus Machines” will now go on to play live in Amnesia Ibiza on the 6th October 2023. The line up will be completed with our beloved DJs Andres Campo and Alan Fitzpatrick who will put the club upsaide down. 

The competition ran from April 21st to August 29th through online space The Klub Discord. Points were awarded through a combination of weekly challenges and sharing of DJ sets via a leaderboard system and after a series of knockout stages the finalists were all lined up in Amnesia’s Virtual Club. 

Two Guys Plus Machines is an electronic music live act created in 2020 by two brothers, Esteban Sáez and Santiago Saez, originally from Bogotá, Colombia. The project arose with the purpose of studying and understanding how technology can stimulate human creativity and generate value through art, which is why their setup is made up of synthesisers, controllers, and algorithms that allow the creation of songs full of spontaneity and emotion in the dancefloor and in the studio. The brothers' sound can be defined as a combination of 90s vibes and Latin percussion and their flair is what see them win this prestigious competition. 

Esteban Sáez says, "We are so grateful for the opportunity. Playing in an iconic club like Amnesia is a dream come true. We are very happy to be part of this community. This contest has helped us to step up our game and develop our skills."

DJenerates is the first NFT collection to immortalise iconic dance music characters, backed by the likes of Carl Cox, Paul Oakenfold, Jamie Jones, Ricardo Villalobos, Sven Väth, Paul Van Dyk, Joseph Capriati and many more.
