Amnesia moves to Sydney to celebrate Electric Gardens festival's 5th anniversary

What started as a backyard rave in 2001, ended up being one of the biggest electronic music festivals in London in only three years. After two decades in the UK, the festival creators, Gelle and Marmont, retuned to Sydney and made their Australian debut with the crème de la crème from the electronic music world.

On February 22nd, we travelled to Sydney to celebrate the festival’s fifth anniversary. For the occasion, we had a pyramid custom-built stage that thrilled the crowd.

The house and dance music DJ, Hoten, opened the event, followed by our resident Mar-T, who created an amazing atmosphere, full of good vibes with a sensational tech-house set. Ann Clue took over adding her unique underground touch.

From 4 PM, we enjoyed the music of the Brazilian genius Gui Boratto, followed by techno master, Alan Fitzpatrick.

The night ended with Reinier Zonneveld’s young talent and, at 9.45 PM, Pan-Pot closed the event in style. Very late for some and very early for others, but for all clearly a festival to remember.

Thank you Australia! We’ll be back.
