Closing party 2017: The perfect way to end such a special season

Saturday 14th October, the last night that Amnesia Ibiza opened its doors in 2017. An event that without a doubt won’t be forgotten. Since 1974, Amnesia Ibiza has been one of the world’s most popular clubs, home to some of the biggest events and DJs on the planet and that is visited by thousands of party lovers year after year. The Amnesia closing party has always been one of the islands favourites, and this year it wasn’t any different, filling the club with people from all over the world from 11pm until midday on Sunday.

The terrace, that wonderful space famous for its high ceiling and windows that lets the morning light shine through, kicked off with the sounds of our resident DJ’s Caal and Les Schmitz who played back to back, the perfect way to start such an awaited event. Next up Luca Donzelli, a name that over the last couple of years has began to grow and grow, followed by another well known name in the scene Hector Couto. At 4am it was time for a special b2b set from Mar-T and Eats Everything, the pair didn’t stop dropping bombs until 7am when it was time for Cocoon resident, Ilario Alicante. Finally, closing the terrace was trio Better Lost Than Stupid, formed by Martin Buttrich, Davide Squillace and Matthias Tanzmann, being there first ever time to play together at Amnesia. The crowd danced until the last track, whilst the sun beamed through the roof, a perfect way to end such an incredible season.

The Main Room, and for the very first time, was hosted this year by WooMooN Records. Magical and colourful deco covered the room, alongside a spectacular lightening and visual experience. The sounds of Valentin Huedo, Blond:ish, Rampue (Live), Lee Burridge and Damian Lazarus filled the room, ending the season in a very special way.

A big thank you to everyone that made the 2017 closing party one of the best ever and most importantly, thank you to you for dancing with us this season and for all of your support. We’ll be back next year… Stronger than ever ;-) #DancingSince1974
