Defected Records put the finishing touch to IMS 2022 at Amnesia Ibiza

After the success of Pyramid's Warm Up, Amnesia reopened its doors last Sunday May 1st. Defected Records returned to the Ibizan temple to celebrate the Closing Party of the IMS Ibiza Summit 2022 on the Terrace. The legendary venue was packed with dancefloor lovers and electronic industry heavyweights who attended a new edition of the most prestigious clubbing conference in the world.

Amnesia dressed up to welcome our friends from Defected, a party with which we have a special bond as they have been part of our schedule. That's why from the very first minute we noticed a special chemistry that was felt by an audience that gave their all.

From a musical point of view, the evening was an unabashed tribute to House music. An enveloping and catchy sound that took over the atmosphere of the room and made us dance until the end of the party.

Those in charge of providing high quality musical moments did not disappoint. Defected didn't want to go for a line up based on nostalgia. Their focus was on the future, transforming the Terrace booth into a platform for house music stars of the present and the next generation. Melee, Ferreck Dawn, Mambo Brothers, Manu Gonzalez, Sam Divine, Simon Dunmore and his sons, Louie and Lucas, AKA The Dunmore Brothers, displayed all their talent with no strings attached.

This weekend has been a litmus test for Amnesia Ibiza. Two great parties that serve to confirm that we are ready to face an exciting 2022 season. See you again soon!
