British house music and UK Garage make a strong impact after a successful opening of Amnesia Presents

There is something undeniable: after accumulating 3 years of experience, success is imminent. Amnesia Presents is everything Ibiza visitors need to kick off their week, and the grand opening night on Monday, June 17th confirms it.

From midnight, both the Main Room and the Terrace were already filled with a crowd ready to have fun at Amnesia. Opening the dance floors were British women Angel Lee and Paisley Jensen, who set a rhythm of total joy. The big surprise of the night was the set by Girls Don’t Sync, the quartet of women making a strong impact on the scene, constantly striving to create a community that reflects the good energy they emanate. Their show created an atmosphere of total fun in the Main Room, leading to an energetic B2B of the best UK Garage music between producers Sammy Virji and Interplanetary Criminal.

The large Terrace looked small after hosting so many clubbers who came to the island, mostly from the UK, to celebrate a new beginning of Amnesia Presents. After Paisley Jensen's opening, Danny Howard took over the booth, adding even more energy to what would be the best opening of the party so far. From 2am, Dombresky delivered a perfect set for those looking to dance nonstop. The French DJ asserts that house music is about feeling good, and he undoubtedly lived up to his word. The closing set was by Sonny Fodera, who invited the audience to sing along to a series of tracks that generated a sense of joy and melancholy befitting a great Opening Party, with songs like "It’s Not Right (But It’s Ok)" by Mr Belt & Wezol.

With an epic turnout, Amnesia Presents kicked off its season with a promising start, featuring 15 more dates every Monday until September 30th. Discover the weekly lineup here and get your tickets.
