Amnesia Opening Party: an event for history
People are in the mood to party and this Saturday it was more noticeable than ever at the Amnesia Ibiza Opening Party. A monumental event that exceeded the already high expectations and left everyone wanting much more. Energy, adrenaline, happiness, amazement and passion overflowed at the legendary club on San Antonio Road, proving once again that Amnesia is much more than just a club.
3RD DIMENSION WAS PACKED FROM THE EARLY HOURS OF THE MORNING
The entrance to Amnesia has been converted into a space to welcome the early risers called 3RD DIMENSION. As soon as the doors opened at 18:00 that open-air oasis began to fill up with the faithful who were eager to experience an unforgettable day. The music flowed without barriers and dazzled the clubbers, especially thanks to the priceless talent of Luca Donzelli. Seb Zito and Archie Hamilton continued the groove until a spectacular sunset gave way to a starry night that foreshadowed what was to come inside Amnesia would be epic.
AN ELECTRONIC EARTHQUAKE SETTLED IN THE MAIN ROOM
Sometimes it takes a while for clubs to feel that their rooms are full. At Amnesia's opening that happened in the blink of an eye. The Main Room began to compact from minute one. Squire kicked off the hostilities with a bang, Lilly Palmer took over and blew the room away with her unstoppable energy and Marcel Dettmann gave a techno masterclass. With the audience in total surrender, Nina Kraviz appeared on stage and the room fell apart. She reciprocated with a set in which she didn't leave the audience a second of respite. Patrick Mason brought the night to a close with a performance full of the glamour of the new Berlin underground.
REACHING NIRVANA ON THE TERRACE
The Amnesia Terrace has a reputation for being magical. Last Saturday it earned that reputation, as what was experienced was a collective ecstasy. CAAL and Lala kicked off the night with talent and positivity. Mar T contributed playing one of his best sets to date, giving way to a crazy back to back set that exalted the masses thanks to the symbiosis between Eats Everything and Marco Faraone. To add fuel to the fire, Maceo Plex appeared on stage with a set that should be teach in schools. And finally, with the first rays of light on Sunday, Jamie Jones took us to a nirvana from which we could not move, as his performance showed why he is one of the DJs who best understands the essence of Ibiza clubbing.
Amnesia Ibiza is back, back stronger than ever and proving that it is the favourite club of the purebred clubbers. After this opening that will go down in history, we are sure that a season full of strong emotions awaits us.
