Amnesia Ibiza Opening Party: An electronic odyssey

There are two ways to experience an electronic party: the first is a simple succession of disconnected performances that leaves you with certain moments, and the second is a complete experience in which you feel part of an odyssey, an epic journey from beginning to end. Well, what we felt last Saturday at the Amnesia Ibiza Opening Party was an adventure of biblical proportions that made us feel part of a musical journey that remains immutable in your memory.

If anything characterizes the Amnesia community, it is their loyalty, so we were not surprised to see how both rooms filled up quickly from the moment the doors opened. There was a desire to feel the special energy of the pyramid club again. The Main Room was activated right away by Anna Tur, a 100% Ibiza DNA that spread throughout the most underground room on the island thanks to the mastery of the Pitiussa queen. Next, Luca Donzelli once again demonstrated his expertise and that magical halo that traps you and never lets you escape. Without time for a pause, Sama' Abdulhadi took to the decks to administer a dose of pure techno, a sonic hurricane that swept the dance floor. Still in shock with what we had just experienced, one of the highlights of the night arrived, Adam Beyer and Layton Giordani gave us an exquisite b2b, an electronic exercise without flaws, full of nuances that made our hearts beat excitedly every second. And to finish off the bet, the energy doubled, as Reinier Zonneveld presented himself in the Main Room ready to hit us with a Live that squeezed every last drop of sweat from our bodies.

We arrived at our favorite refuge with the hype through the roof, and the Terrace gave us what we expected and more. Gina Jeanz warmed up the atmosphere with a perfect set to activate our bloodstream. Next, Caal once again demonstrated that no one knows the resources of the room like he does and gave us a real lesson in how to play at Amnesia. Mar-T raised the level of the party with an incredible session, full of moments that managed to populate the dance floor with faces of amazement. To continue the quality line of the evening, Marco Faraone and Special Request delivered an immense b2b, with an exploration of electronic sound in all its facets. Guy Gerber once again demonstrated that he is overflowing with talent, effective and emotional in equal parts. The alchemist Maceo Plex gave us goosebumps with his set, as he always surprises and moves us equally, causing looks of disbelief in the thousands of people who packed the Terrace. And to top it all off, to accompany us in the most beautiful sunrise on the island, what could be better than a massive dose of magic from the hand of Seth Troxler and Skream. Empathy, good vibes, and electronic talent in a perfect b2b that made us leave Amnesia with the feeling of having witnessed a memorable party.
