On June 16, 1981. Caal Smile is born in the Argentine city of Buenos Aires. Unlike the majority of the persons, he does not come to the world crying ... but smiling! Unconsciousness? The certain thing is that the mother land of Maradona little could enjoy the one who for at the time was known as Carlos Alberto Carpio: to 12 months of age he moves to Barcelona, place where it would write his small history.

It would be at the age of 13 when he would enter in touch with the world of the music, studying solfeggio and receiving classes of battery for 4 years.

But his artistic career would give a overturn during the summer of 1998, when he submerges in the exciting world of the night: the environment of the discotheques, and finally, the music of the dancing floors to hand of the Deejays, they do that Caal Smile leaves behind his facet as musician of group, to start being decanted by the world of the electronic music.

It will be also in this epoch when he carries out one of his first projects, the radio space Disco - Planeta emitted in a local broadcasting station in Barcelona. In his program, Caal Smile offers to the hearing the music that so much had seduced and impressed him: Dance, House, Garage, etc.

Since then he overturns totally in the knowledge and enjoyment of the electronic music. He acquires his complete equipment of DJ and initiates an audio engineering course in the school MK3, which he will complement with a degree of the Universitat of Valencia and several courses of production given for: Julio Navas and David Amo.

During his studies, Caal Smile initiates his second radio project, the program Sensual-House where he offers the electronic music from his point of view and interviews DJ's of the national panorama of the height of Joey Plastic, Marc Marzenit, etc ... and broadcasting his sessions. The program will have so good acceptance that there will manage to organize the so called Sensual-House Parties, in small clubs of the city of Barcelona.
