Amnesia Ibiza Opening Party 2012 Official Review

The breath-taking line-up of artists scheduled for the night kept both the Main Room and the Terrace of the club boiling for 12 hours in a row, thus cutting the ribbon of what will be an unforgettable season full of great parties and huge line-ups at one of the most emblematic clubs in the white island.


Amnesia’s opening party was with no doubt the loudest happening in the island of Ibiza last Saturday night. Everybody was looking forward to spending an amazing night enjoying the music and the glamorous ambience at which has been considered to be the Best Global Club by the 2 million voters of the prestigious IDMA (International Dance Music Awards of Miami’s Winter Music Conference) for several years so far.


The queue was massive and it seemed impossible that all the people could fit inside the venue. Later on, even the VIP areas where packed as all the tables where sold out with weeks in advance, and were sitting celebrities and renown electronic artists as well as many other industry professionals who wanted to experience the magic of the opening party from a privileged and more intimate location in the club.


Sander Kleinenberg, The Zombie Kids, Kim Fai and Oliver Schmitz plus resident djs Les Schmitz and Caal Smile with violinist Micah where the protagonists of the Main Room while Davide Squillace and Matthias Tanzmann, Reboot, Joseph Capriati, Audiofly, Coyu plus resident dj and Amnesia’s art director Mar-T rocked the Terrace. 


The party lasted until very late into the morning, as thousands of clubbers from different corners of the world kept grooving and paying tribute to one of the most famous clubs in the whole world.
